The season will open with a highly anticipated clash between the newcomers, Jamaica Kingsmen, and the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons on August 7 at Kingstown. The following day, the defending champions, Trinbago Knight Riders, will face off against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the same venue.

In a milestone move, the Arnos Vale Stadium in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will host CPL matches for the very first time.
